Purpose
This trial investigated the effectiveness of weekly application of foliar fertilisers FertAmino 7-2-2 (3 l/ha/week) and NutriFul (1 l/ha/week) during the growing season of Conference pears on heavy river clay. These products were applied in addition to standard fertilisation. FertAmino 7-2-2 contains N-P-K and is also rich in amino acids. These amino acids are largely free and easily absorbed even at low temperatures because they originate from plants. As soon as the amino acids are directly absorbable by the plant, it does not need to expend extra energy. This allows the plant to use its energy for other processes. NutriFul has a chelating effect. It ensures that nutrients in the soil are released and can be absorbed by the plant
Results
The objects are laid out in a weighted block test with 5 repetitions. Each field has a length of 9 trees, with the middle 5 trees measured.
Results
Higher yield
It can be concluded that application of FertAmino 7-2-2, NutriFul and the combination of these two products leads to a higher number of fruits per tree and a higher yield in kg per tree. Despite this increase, the percentage of dry matter remains the same.
