Purpose

Proper foliar fertilization contributes to a stronger plant with better stress resistance in hot and dry conditions. Less stress means more energy for growth and thus more yield. In this trial, two unique foliar fertilizers from Fertiplus (FOF) were tested by UIKC as an addition to a conventional schedule. Measured was yield, grading and a dry matter analysis.

Results

In this trial 4 objects were used.

Results

Higher yield

The treatment of NutriFul gave the highest net yield increase (3.8%) in onions. The positive effect of FertAmino 7-2-2 and NutriFul is especially noteworthy given the ample precipitation in the summer of 2021. The greatest effect of FertAmino 7-2-2 and NutriFul is seen under dry, stressful weather conditions.
